Greensboro Episcopal Church of the Redeemer
Greensboro Episcopal Church of the Redeemer
303 North Main Street
Greensboro, GA 30642
A mere 15 minute drive from beautiful Lake Oconee, the historic Greensboro Episcopal Church of the Redeemer has been a welcoming place of worship since opening their doors in 1868. Not only is the church adorned in lovely gothic revival architecture, it provides a strong community of believers for those looking to find a spiritual home.
Although it is an Episcopal church, people of all denominations, beliefs, and walks of life are welcomed to attend. The goal of the church is to provide a safe haven where people feel both inspired and embraced without any pressure to return or to mold their beliefs - there is no wrong way to worship at Greensboro Episcopal Church of the Redeemer!
The church provides a beautiful and serene environment for fellowship and spiritual revelation, but it also provides a strong support network for members outside of the building. This approach is known as “Reaching In and Reaching Out”..members reaching in to help each other, and reaching out to help others in the community.
Testimonials from current members note that the church is welcoming from the time you initially sit down to the time you exit the building and beyond. Whether you are a faithful Christian looking for a new church to call home or someone who is curious about worship and looking for a community to join, Greensboro Episcopal Church invites you to attend!
Sunday worship takes place from 9:30AM - 10:30AM with Christian Education starting at 11AM. Saturday night worship at Lake Oconee Lutheran Church at 5PM with Christian Education at 3:30PM.
