Murals in Downtown Greensboro
You probably recognize this one from Oconee Brewing Company. The building was once a bottling plant for the Chero-Cola brand. A group of University of Georgia art students can take credit for restoring the painting around 2018. We love how they kept the vintage look and feel! Next time you shop Downtown Greensboro or stop to get a cold craft beer at Oconee Brewing Company, be sure to take a picture in front of this great mural.
The Welcome to Greensboro mural, which used to be on the Sue Smith building on Main and Broad streets, has been restored and is ready to welcome visitors once more. With the help of the community's crowdfunding efforts, the mural has been recreated to resemble the original. Situated in Downtown Greensboro, this charming artwork is a delightful way to greet both tourists and locals alike. Whether you're a visitor or a resident, be sure to stop by and capture a cute photo in front of this iconic mural.

Murals In Downtown Eatonton
This mural was created in Downtown Eatonton during the summer of 2023. The project was a collaboration between Kevin Tomson Hooper of The Artisans Village, Maggie Milner at the Eatonton-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce, and Steve Culberson, the owner of the building where Nails by Aaron is located. The mural can be found at the northwest corner of North Jefferson Avenue and Marion Street, contributing to the artistic landscape of the area.

Union Point “Firefly”
This water tower in historic Downtown Union Point was brought back to life a few years ago, thanks to the Union Point Downtown Development Authority and Firefly Trail, Inc, marking an exciting new project — The Firefly Trail. At first glance it may look like a butterfly, but, in fact, the wings are those of a firefly. The sparkles around it are the sparks of the railroad trains as they passed through, known as “fireflies.” Today, the old train bed that once connected Union Point to Athens is being converted into a rail-to-trail recreational amenitiy for walkers, runners and cyclists in the area.
