Ghosts, Goblins, and superheroes of all shapes and sizes will soon be haunting Town Park!
On Halloween, costumed Madison and Morgan County trick-or-treaters up to the age of 13, and costumed pets on leashes—along with their families—are invited to join us for a free costume parade in Town Park. Marchers should line up at the pavilion at 4:15 p.m.—the parade will begin at 4:30 p.m. Wagons are welcome for tiny tots.
Paraders will circle the park to show off their costumes to judges (this is a good time to take pictures) and to collect treats from Main Street and local businesses and organizations while they last. A limited number of reflective treat bags and glo-necklaces will be given out.
Prizes will be awarded for exceptional kid and critter costumes.
After parading, City of Madison Police and Firefighters will serve up ghoulish grub (hallo-weiners) for paraders to enjoy. Safety vehicles will be on site for kids (and parents) to check out.
